Aspire Evolve is looking for several teams of Cable Jointers in Chippenham, Wiltshire. This is a long term role and we can offer 5+ years of work.

Key Responsibilities for Cable Jointer

* Perform jointing, cabling, and excavation work on our HV & LV Network, both on a pre-planned and quick response basis.

* Work outdoors in all weather conditions, with a requirement to undertake out-of-hours standby duties and respond to storm situations at short notice.

* Experience in the DNO industry in the UK or overseas, with a recognised cable jointing qualification in LV, HV, 11kV, or 33kV from a reputable training school.

* Proven track record in the construction, repair, and operation of electrical plant and equipment up to 11kV on DNO networks, with sound HV and LV electrical knowledge.

* Flexible approach to work, including out-of-hours stand-by duties and short notice work during severe weather conditions.

* Enthusiasm, drive, and adaptability to changing business and project priorities.

* Ability to carry out the excavation of joint holes using hand tools and a mini excavator (training can be provided if necessary).

* A full UK driving licence is essential.

* 3+ years experience as a Cable Jointer
