Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment Diagnose faults and perform repairs promptly to minimise downtime Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies Collaborate with team members to optimise maintenance procedures and improve operational processes Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers Experience operating power tools safely and efficiently Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment Good communication skills to report issues clearly and accurately This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical expertise within a supportive team environment.
