DPP is an independent national planning consultancy, that successfully delivers planning solutions to clients across the UK. Due to an expanding workload, we are looking for talented and enthusiastic Senior-level Planners to join our growing team in Newcastle to work on a variety of projects nationwide. The job title and salary will reflect the level of experience of the individual appointed.

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career and assist in the delivery of exceptional planning services, across various sectors, including education, energy, defence, health, residential, retail, and major mixed-use and regeneration schemes. We act for many high-profile clients, including some of the country’s major land developers, housebuilders, and retail operators.

Key Attributes

In terms of attributes, we are looking for candidates who can satisfy the following.

  1. RTPI accredited degree or a relevant degree
  2. MRTPI or close to achieving chartered status
  3. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time and multiple projects effectively
  4. Strong communication skills (verbally and in written form)
  5. Good understanding and knowledge of the planning system
  6. Commercial awareness
  7. Competent user of Microsoft 365 products
