Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Mobile Air Conditoning Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Mobile Air Conditoning Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
This is a Field based Mobile position covering Bournemouth and surrounding areas.
As the Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Undertaking the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment. This includes service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.
* Required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets / multideck or ice machines.
* Opportunity to work across a variety of manufacturer plants, for example, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, and LG. Understanding installation designs and bespoke manufacturer trouble shooting procedures.
* Comfortable with seeking manufacturer technical support autonomously is desirable.
* Completing all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.
To be successful for this Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer role you must have:
* The ideal candidate will have experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
* You must have relevant qualifications e.g., FGAS & ODS regs, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
* You will be provided opportunities for training, development, progression, and internal promotions.
* Candidates will have a full current driving licence and be willing to participate in an On-Call rota.
* You'll be capable of performing manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces.
* Good verbal and written communication are important, including the ability to use a handheld computer device (PDA).
* You'll need to be highly self-motivated, and solutions focussed with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team.
