Role - Mechanical Design Engineer
Location - Middlesbrough (Hybrid working)
Torque Consulting is currently seeking a mechanical design engineer for a manufacturing/engineering company based in Middlesbrough. This includes utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) (Solidworks) software and applying principles of mechanical engineering and product design. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions and research + development into new prodcuts.
Design Engineering, Machine Design, and Mechanical Engineering skills
Experience in product design and development
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience in the pipeline industry or related fields is a plus
Experience using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor etc.
