As a Motor Vehicle Skills Trainer , you’ll deliver hands-on, high-quality training to Army personnel. This role goes beyond teaching — it’s an opportunity to shape the future of military engineering by sharing your technical expertise, building learners’ skills, confidence, and knowledge, and inspiring them to succeed.
Deliver engaging, practical training using modern teaching methods and prepared course materials
• Develop lesson plans, training aids, and assessments to support effective learning
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve training delivery
• Maintain your own CPD to ensure training content remains current and industry-aligned
• Deliver all apprenticeship elements in line with Ofsted, ESFA, and awarding body standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on coaching and development
• Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with military vehicles or in a military training environment
• Knowledge of apprenticeships or government-funded training programmes

GCSE Maths & English (Grade C / 4 or above) or equivalent
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics
Ability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance
• Enhanced DBS (EDBS) required
