Our client, a global leader in the insurance sector, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their dynamic web development team. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering scalable, secure, and user-focused applications, leveraging modern tools like Playwright, NUnit, and JMeter .

This role is about more than testing. You’ll influence a culture of quality, champion a “shift-left” approach, and guide less experienced team members to develop their skills. With a robust CI/CD pipeline and agile methodologies, you’ll help create innovative solutions that put users first.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving Quality : Collaborate with engineers and product owners to design, refine, and test solutions that meet user needs.
  • Shaping Best Practices : Advocate for quality as a shared responsibility and ensure adherence to testing standards (performance, accessibility, exploratory, and more).
  • Innovating Through Automation : Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Mentoring and Leadership : Guide colleagues, contribute to technical designs, and champion a risk-based approach to QA.
  • Hands-On Contribution : Actively participate in agile sessions, lead demonstrations, and document acceptance criteria and test plans.

What You’ll Bring

Our ideal candidate will have experience with some of the following:

  • A strong foundation in C#, Blazor , or other front-end technologies.
  • Proficiency in a variety of testing techniques (e.g., performance, exploratory, white-box).
  • Familiarity with Azure and cloud-based environments.
  • A passion for automation, with exposure to tools like Moq , Automapper , or Playwright .
  • Accessibility testing knowledge and a user-focused mindset.
  • A collaborative approach and excellent communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring and supporting team members.
