Job Description

As a Commercial Knowledge Lawyer you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining a centralised precedent bank, ensuring precedent management and security and identifying and reviewing appropriate external precedents for use.
  • Monitoring legal developments, legal trends and regulatory changes, analysing key impacts and communicating this to the Firm.
  • Developing and maintaining the firm's commercial law knowledge base.
  • Working with the Technology function to design, develop and build user-friendly and flexible platforms to store know-how.
  • Developing firm wide training and presentation materials and delivering modules as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Knowledge Lawyer should have:

  • Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
  • Previous experience undertaking knowledge projects.
  • A strong sense of commerciality alongside technical excellence in commercial law.
  • Excellent knowledge of legal research and documentation.
  • A methodical approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy.
