Blush & Bloom are partnered with a leading cosmetics brand who are renowned for creating luxurious products within the cosmetics, bath, body and home care industry. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Regulatory Manager to ensure their products meet regulatory standards across the UK, EU, and international markets.
In this role, you will manage all regulatory aspects for both new and existing products, ensuring compliance with cosmetic regulations globally. You will also play a key role in monitoring emerging legislation and guiding internal teams through the regulatory process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage regulatory compliance for both new and existing products across cosmetics, home fragrances, and consumer commodities.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements during product development and sourcing.
- Stay updated on global regulatory changes and communicate potential business impacts to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain regulatory processes to ensure efficient compliance operations.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders, addressing regulatory queries and requests.
- Ensure product labels meet global cosmetic labelling standards through the artwork approval process.
- Oversee global product registrations, notifications, and shipping compliance.
- Collaborate with trade and regulatory bodies to ensure certification and documentation are in line with national and international regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of three direct reports, supporting their professional growth and ensuring team objectives are met.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in cosmetic regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail.
- Analytical and leadership abilities, with experience managing teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
