Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Data Controls team to design a self-assessment framework for advancing strategic initiatives
- Utilize extensive experience in evaluating end-to-end cloud services to identify control gaps and implement enhancement plans to safeguard customer data in a dynamic environment
- Develop a Cloud Controls Matrix Roadmap in partnership with the team, GT, and other stakeholders, detailing the current state and future direction for stakeholder approval
- Effectively communicate with strong presentation and negotiation skills to ensure stakeholders understand risks, enabling proper prioritization and funding
- Work across all business functions, data teams, compliance units, and GT services, requiring a highly knowledgeable and seasoned professional to support the business transformation program
- Act as a 'completer-finisher' to capture initial requirements, define the work scope, track progress, and engage key stakeholders until task/project completion
Skills/Experience:
- Passionate about continuous improvement to drive efficiency and effectiveness, optimizing processes for business value delivery
- Familiarity with NIST, TOGAF, ITIL, ISO 27k, CCM, GDPR, and CIFIUS.
- Expert knowledge of cloud technologies with proven experience in continuous improvement within cloud environments
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
- Experience with the '3 Lines of Defence' governance model
- Deep understanding of IT security best practices in evolving cloud operating models
- Extensive project management experience, analytical skills, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strategic thinker with the ability to 'connect the dots' for optimized delivery
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in leading large-scale projects, programs, and teams at a global enterprise level
- Knowledge of commercial lines insurance is an advantage
- Strong understanding of data importance and a passion for strategic data initiatives, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Collaborative, with a 'can-do' attitude and a customer-first mindset
