Advanced Purchasing Analyst
Do you have procurement and logistics experience, and are you seeking a new contract role in Peterlee? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit an Advanced Purchasing Analyst, and the role comes with an umbrella contract rate of £29.You will support Buyers, the Product Supply Leader, Supply Network Operations Supervisors and/or Managers, working with category, facility, product and logistics teams, acting as the interface between suppliers and stakeholders for any concerns.
In your first few weeks in this procurement management role, you can expect to:
Support the indirect Purchasing Buyers with daily compliance management, including responsibility of compliance reports
Review and potentially optimise suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors
Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and determine the need for changes.
To apply for this Advanced Purchasing Analyst role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
Purchasing background e.g. experience in a Buyer role
An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Intermediate to advanced experience of computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, purchasing systems and e-mail systems
