Business Test Analyst - Contract (Inside IR35) - 12 months - Remote About the Role and Client A leading international law and professional services firm is seeking a detail-oriented Business Test Analyst to join their Transformation team. This role is essential in supporting User Acceptance Testing activities, ensuring business requirements are thoroughly validated and solutions deliver real value. Working at the intersection of business needs and technical delivery, you'll play a critical part in transformation projects that shape the future of this global organisation. Key Responsibilities Analyse business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and executable test scripts. Execute User Acceptance Testing cases with precision and document results accurately for audit and compliance purposes. Collaborate with business users throughout the UAT process, providing guidance and education on testing methodologies. Identify, log, and track defects through their full lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication. Partner with business stakeholders to validate test outcomes and confirm solutions meet operational needs. Contribute to defect triage sessions, providing informed input on prioritisation and business impact. Maintain rigorous test evidence and documentation to support audit requirements and regulatory compliance. Support the preparation of UAT summary reports and formal sign-off documentation for project governance. Essential Requirements Proven experience in User Acceptance Testing within business transformation or system implementation projects. Demonstrated ability to create and execute test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications. Practical experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA). Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication skills enabling effective liaison between business users and technical teams. Experience working both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional project teams. Desirable Experience Knowledge of financial services or legal sector operations and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
