Start People are currently seeking an experienced material handler for one of our clients based in Newton Aycliffe. Day Shift Rate; £13.42 per hour Day Shift Hours; Monday-Thursday 06:30-16:00, Friday 06:30-13:30 = Total 45 hours Night Shift Rate; £15.25 per hour Night Shift Hours; Monday-Wednesday 18:00-06:00, Thursday 16:00-23:00 = Total 43 hours The Role Entails;
- Goods Inward.
- Operating an overhead gantry crane to unload and load coil from vehicles.
- Prepare coil for production line (unwrapping of coils)
- Conduct quality checks at multiple stages (unloading, loading, presenting coil to production line)
- Follow the company H&S policy.
- Weighing material after production that is assigned to material handlers area.
