We are bringing our design capability back in-house to provide better value for money for our customers and enhancing our expert client capability. As part of this innovation, we are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to be based in any of our offices at Coventry, Raynesway and Shelton.
Do you have experience working in clean water treatment? Are you a Senior Design Engineer looking for a new challenge? We have a wide range of clean water treatment work going in our team and we can offer you technical exposure and skills you need to progress your career. In this role you will providing technical solutions and you will undertake feasibility evaluation/assessment for projects and create designs & specifications for AMP8 and beyond. You will come up with innovative design solutions to support the delivery of our projects & you will need to think about the wider context of our changing environment, climate change pledge and carbon commitments.
Teamwork is key across Capital Design and Delivery so we would want you to demonstrate leadership and assist with defining team goals and actively drive problem solving/ information processing and support the team in translating this information concisely.
To do this role you will have experience of designing UK clean water treatment works and a robust understanding of CDM regulations in the design process.
You will deliver projects to programme, within budget, to the correct quality standards. Be part of developing the future design team
Qualified in engineering and design (Civil, Process and Electrical). You will have a strong background in design working with standards and codes of practice, with experience of providing designs and specifications for commercial negotiations.
