Contracts Manager

Randstad C&P are recruiting for a Contracts Manager to manage a number of luxury, bespoks projects concurrently. The role will involve managing varoius projects across Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, valued at up to GBP10m. Each project will require unique attention, thus a well-rounded background within high-end, bespoke projects is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and management of construction contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and project specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, facilitating clear communication
  • Assess proposed changes to project scope, evaluate their impact on budget and schedule, and manage change orders
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and correspondence
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Continuously review project processes and practices to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in contract management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of overseeing contracts for high-end residential projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts, procurement practices, and relevant legal frameworks, with the ability to draft, review, and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

The role can pay an attractive salary of up to GBP68,000 plus benefits, in addition to joining a warm and close knit team who boast an excellent company culture.
