One of our platinum accounts has openings for Linux System Administrators for varying skill levels. The successful candidate will work within a small team which will require a good level of knowledge on DevOps engineering methodologies and that is comfortable working within a cloud development environment. Your role will include implementing standards, policies, and procedures for continual service improvement.
Provide first and second level technical support on incidents and problems
Monitor overall system performance and ensure smooth system functionality
Assist building compliance with our processes and policies
Working to ITIL best practices
A proactive approach towards looking for risks and problems
An ability to adapt quickly and work in an agile fashion
Hands-on production experience on Linux, OpenShift
Good knowledge on Linux, Kubernetes and OpenShift
OpenShift monitoring and writing custom alerting using Prometheus Alertmanager
Experience with maintaining Dell PowerEdge Servers
