Nestled in the idyllic countryside of Suffolk, the beautiful Ickworth Hotel is now seeking a motivated and talented Chef de Partie to join our brilliant team. If you are a dedicated and skilled chef, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a luxury hotel known for its exceptional service and welcoming culture.
This a permanent role, at 48 hours per week over 5 days (including weekends), with an annual salary of £31,000 plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefits package.
Your role will oversee your workstation and alongside the rest of the kitchen, make our menus come alive Working to spec and direction given by the senior chef team you will create the menu dishes for our guests to enjoy. You will ensure that your section is clean and extensively prepped in accordance with the menu specifications and standards, demonstrating food hygiene standards and an understanding of allergens.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a harmonious working environment, fostering effective communication and teamwork
- Training and Development: Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and skills to foster growth within the team.
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-quality kitchen.
• Charisma, an engaging personality and passion for hospitality
• Knowledge of techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards, food Hygiene level 2 would be beneficial.
• Work/life balance is priority for our team- we strive to ensure you have a 4 on 3 off working pattern so you can make sure you have time for you
We understand the importance of a chef's tools so we offer our kitchen team members up to £120 to put towards your very own knives.
We want our chefs to experience new styles and tastes of dining as part of their development so every 6 months we will give you £100 on eating out at restaurant of your choice
training and development
