Azure DevOps Architect

Our client, a highly regarded FinTech based consultancy based in central London, is looking for an Azure DevOps Architect.

The Azure DevOps Architect will be responsible for the design automation of infrastructure and software rollouts using Azure DevOps pipelines, including quality gates such as peer reviews. You will be working on design and development of infrastructure using an IaC approach that aligns with industry best practices such as the Azure Well-Architected Framework.

For the role of Azure DevOps Architect, you will have experience in the design and development of automatic scaling and highly available solutions. With your experience and knowledge of both DevOps best practice and Azure, you will work closely with other departments, such as Development and Architecture, to ensure that Azure technologies are being used correctly and efficiently. Work closely with the Security teams to design secure solutions from the get-go and assist with validating designs against best practice

• Able to work well as an individual and as part of a team

• Take part in architectural discussions with technical / non-technical team members

• Able to self-manage and self-motivate• Strong inter-personal and communication skills

• Able to work under pressure

• Have a desire to keep up with the latest tools and techniques

An understanding of Azure PaaS components:-

Key areas: o AKS (deployment + management) o API Management o App Services o Azure SQL o Functions o Networking o App Insights o Data Factory o Databricks • Proven experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)

Solid understanding:-

Terraform

HELM charts

Flux

Powershell

Azure CLI
