Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fluid dynamics, hydraulics, or water treatment and a proven track record in project management.
You will be responsible for the design and planning of water systems and urban irrigation projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and plan water systems and urban irrigation projects, from conception through to implementation.
- Apply knowledge of fluid dynamics, hydraulics, or water treatment to develop efficient and sustainable solutions.
- Manage projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Ensure all projects comply with environmental regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to deliver optimal results.
- Conduct site visits and assessments as needed, with occasional travel around the South East region.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fluid dynamics, hydraulics, or water treatment.
- Proven project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations related to water systems and urban irrigation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel occasionally around the South East region.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools.
