SAP S/4 HANA Project Manager – 6 Month Contract – £500 Per day - Outside IR35

Chapman Tate Associates are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP S/4 HANA Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA solutions, with a specific focus on SAP Public Cloud. This is a contract position, ideal for a professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is adept at managing complex full life cycle ERP projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Leadership: Lead and manage SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Oversee all project phases including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.

Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction, support, and motivation. Ensure team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.

Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders and executive management.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements. Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices and SAP advancements, particularly in SAP Public Cloud, to continually improve project delivery processes.

Experience:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing SAP projects.

Proven experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementations.

Specific experience with SAP Public Cloud is required.

Strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA architecture and modules.

Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.

Excellent leadership and organisational skills.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Certifications: SAP certification, PMP, or other relevant project management certifications are advantageous.
