Are you passionate about languages and ready to apply your expertise to cutting-edge AI technologies? As a Linguist, you'll play a vital role in shaping the quality and effectiveness of our language-related projects. Perform in-depth linguistic analyses on extensive datasets.
Conduct linguistic error analysis of AI model outputs, identifying frequent and severe error categories.
Develop and refine guidelines for human annotation and translation projects.
Conduct typological and sociolinguistic research across numerous languages, emphasizing their unique characteristics and commonalities.
Analyse linguistic data for Responsible AI, addressing issues such as toxic language, hate speech, and cultural biases in multilingual contexts.
Evaluate vendor deliveries for quality and consistency, providing actionable feedback.
Provide expertise on various aspects of linguistic knowledge to inform project development.
Collaborate with native speakers in diverse languages and communicate linguistic analysis results to technical teams.

Native or near-native proficiency (CEFRL C2) in a language other than English is essential.
Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous, especially low-resource or under-represented languages.
Proficient in Python for coding and SQL for database querying; familiarity with other data analysis languages (e.g., Familiarity with international language-classification standards is preferred.
Previous involvement in research papers or projects involving machine learning, NLP, or software engineering is advantageous.
Firm grasp of linguistic fields including language typology, syntax, morphology, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, writing systems, pragmatics, and phonology.
Some experience with basic Natural Language Processing techniques is expected.
