- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing manner.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities.
- Ensure the well-being, safety, and hygiene of the children at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment.
- Follow nursery policies and procedures.
- Be punctual and reliable for shifts.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
- A recognised Early Years qualification Level 3 or above.
- Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred.
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.
- A passion for working with children and helping them develop.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to different age groups and personalities.
- Flexibility to work varying hours as needed.
- Aware of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safety procedures.
