CHILDREN'S SUPPORTED LIVING / RESIDENTIAL CARE MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Children's Supported Living or Residential Manager to work in the children's care sector (teenagers)- small residential homes (EBD, LD, autism) This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenge and the opportunity to help a company grow and to ensure the lives of the children are fully supported with excellent levels of care.

Competitive salary £40-60k DOE

The Role:
  • Overseeing the delivery of care services for children, delivering high levels of care in line with regulations
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Ofsted
  • Managing staff and resources effectively
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans
  • Liaising with families, and healthcare professionals
  • Assessments, supervisions and overall management of the support workers
  • Following of policies and procedures
The Candidate:
  • Relevant qualifications in healthcare - level 3 minimum
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children ideal but not essential (they will look at applicants who have worked with adults only)
  • Ofsted experience ideally but CQC also considered
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Have a strong character and be a good communicator
  • Be a reflective leader
  • Want to develop their own style of management
  • Work closely with the regional managers to develop growth plans for the service
  • Worked as a manager or a deputy manager or senior or team lead in the children's sector
