Cloud DevOps Consultant

Up to £88k + bonus + benefits

Hybrid remote working from either London, Manchester or Glasgow with some client site travel

A global consultancy with offices around the U.K is looking to onboard a Cloud DevOps Consultant to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will come from a background of DevOps consultancy, we are looking for candidates with current/prior experience of DevOps consultancy - Strategy, Architecture, Proof of concept, Advisory ect.

The ideal candidate will have the following key skills:

  • Strong DevOps architecture/consultancy experience - More advisory/consultancy than hands on engineering is required for this role.
  • DORA experience
  • Prior experience mentoring a small team
  • Confident working in a client-facing role as this will be a part of the role.
  • Any experience within Security, Government or Business Automation would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Assess, define and if applicable, implement DevOps capabilities that will deliver innovation, agility, cost benefit to the customer.
  • Identify where appropriate, opportunities to provide additional services to the business in other areas – for the Senior positions, there will be a sales target to focus on.
  • Create a roadmap that will improve the maturity of DevOps practices and offer support about adopting more modern work processes.

We view this as an exciting opportunity for an experienced DevOps Architect/Consultant to join the team to enhance end clients DevOps setups and provide valuable knowledge and advice.
