Our vision is to become the most trusted turnkey solutions partner within our respective markets, and we will do this by re-setting customer service benchmarks and transforming customer expectations with honesty, integrity, and passion. Vital Group expects all its employees to act as ‘co-owners’ of the business, and to always put safety first, followed closely by customer satisfaction and commercial success. This role operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum requirement of two days per week in our Chester Operations Centre. The position follows standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00.

Job Overview – Marketing Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Marketing Manager to join Vital Power Group, supporting both our Power and EV divisions. This is a pivotal role that will shape the Group’s marketing direction, elevate brand presence, and drive customer engagement across a fast-growing, multi-service organisation.

As Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of developing and executing our marketing strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and impactful campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels. Working closely with senior leadership, operations, and sales teams, you will lead brand development, manage content creation, support product launches, enhance customer communications, and strengthen lead-generation activity.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and wants to contribute directly to the future success of a rapidly expanding group.

Develop and deliver the Group-wide marketing strategy for the Power and EV divisions, ensuring a consistent, aligned brand identity across all channels and in line with company values and commercial objectives.
Lead brand positioning activities, including market research, competitor analysis, and customer insight gathering.
Plan, create, and manage content across digital platforms, including website, social media, email marketing, and internal communication channels.
Produce high-quality written and visual content, such as case studies, brochures, presentations, newsletters, and video briefs.
Develop and execute targeted campaigns to support product launches, service promotions, and strategic business initiatives.
Manage the content calendar and ensure regular delivery of engaging, relevant communications.
Oversee the development and performance of the company websites, ensuring content is current, optimised, and engaging.
Manage SEO, PPC, and paid social activity where required, either directly or through external partners.
Monitor analytics and KPIs to track campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Partner with the sales teams to develop marketing materials, proposals, and pitch content that support business development goals.
Create sector-specific content to help drive lead generation and customer engagement.
Develop and deliver internal comms to strengthen company culture and support employee engagement.
Contribute to employer brand initiatives and recruitment campaign materials in line with HR objectives.
Support the planning and management of company events, industry exhibitions, webinars, and customer engagement initiatives.
Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring value for money and ROI on campaigns and activities.
Drive continuous improvement of marketing processes, tools, and standards.
Take ownership of marketing project timelines and ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on marketing performance, campaign impact, and strategic opportunities.
Degree qualified or equivalent in Marketing, Business or Communications.
Experience using CRM, marketing or sales platforms.
Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies across multiple channels
Hands-on experience creating and managing digital content, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and internal communications
High attention to detail and quality in all deliverables.

A discretionary twice per annum, ‘Profit Related Pay’ scheme that ties bonus amounts to the amount of profit made by the business.
Pension scheme after 3 months of service.
All employees receive 25 days leave (or equivalent pro-rata) per annum and additional bank holiday days.
Eligibility to join Vitality, Private Healthcare Scheme, and BHSF Healthcare Cash Plan, after 6 months of service.
A supportive and positive workplace culture
