We are seeking a highly experienced Risk Specialist to join our team. This role involves overseeing significant change initiatives within a tech-focused business environment, utilising both agile and waterfall methodologies. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience from the banking sector, particularly from a risk perspective, and will play a pivotal role in our organisation's ongoing integration and separation activities.
Risk Oversight: Provide expert risk oversight for significant change initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Integration and Separation Activities: Lead and manage risk aspects related to integration and separation activities, including overseeing the build, run, and execution of Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs).
Apply both agile and waterfall methodologies to manage enterprise-level changes effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with technology, business, service operations, and architecture teams to ensure risk considerations are embedded in all projects.
Oversee risk management processes related to payments and supplier management, ensuring robust controls and risk mitigation strategies are in place.
Extensive experience in risk management within the banking sector, particularly with large banks.
Proven track record in managing risk aspects of integration and separation activities.
Exceptional risk management skills with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices.
Experience in a second line risk function is desirable but not essential.
Professional certifications in risk management (e.g., Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM)) are highly desirable.
Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
