What you can look forwards to as EMC Test Engineer:
- Setting up and conducting all types of EMC tests and ensuring that test specifications are followed correctly
- Devising and carrying out non-standard tests to meet special requirements
- Recording product condition or behaviour during and after test and creating concise and clear test records
- Working as part of large team to co-ordinate testing activities and help maintain the test facilities.
- Monitoring test equipment and reporting anomalies or faults
- Working closely with clients to understand and resolve EMC test failures through investigative work
Your Profile as EMC Test Engineer:
- Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification with a good understanding in Physics
- Several years practical test experience in a controlled test environment working to Automotive or Aerospace test Standards
- Familiarity with testing, monitoring and control instruments
- Conscientious in attention to detail, accuracy and record keeping
- Ability to communicate clearly and to deal confidently with customers
