Role: Head of Procurement

You’re an experienced procurement professional with a proven track record of delivering strategic value, driving innovation, and building exceptional teams. As Head of Procurement, you will:
Lead with Vision: Develop and manage a high-performing Corporate Procurement team, setting ambitious targets and inspiring excellence.
Craft and execute a procurement strategy that delivers best value commercially while aligning with our social value and sustainability goals.
Champion Compliance and Best Practice: Ensure adherence to legislation and internal policies, and pioneer best-in-class procurement methodologies, including cutting-edge e-tendering solutions.
Inspire Professional Growth: Chair the Procurement Forum and mentor procurement talent across the organisation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Empower Through Training: Deliver engaging and practical procurement training to elevate the skills of CSG staff involved in purchasing and contract management.
Continuously improve procurement processes, ensuring best value and compliance.
Create sustainable supplier relationships that drive long-term success.
Be a catalyst for professional development and operational excellence across the Group.
CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) or equivalent experience
An excellent technical appreciation of the range of procurement regulations applicable to CSG businesses
Expert knowledge of the Procurement Act and Public Contract Regulations
Private and Public sector experience
25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays
