Finatal are currently exclusively working with a global midmarket Private Equity Fund that operates within technology/software, business services industries. With over £1 billion AUM they are now looking for a Director of Technology or VP of Engineering to work directly at the fund leading the Tech Due-Diligence strategy pre and post deal as well as focus on developing value creation strategies for the portfolio.

Role:

  • Reporting to the Fund CTO you will lead the assessment of current technology strategies and growth plans across various domains including IT, Data, Cyber and Digital Strategy within portfolio business.
  • Conducting technology focussed due diligence on potential investment targets, providing insights and advising on viable investments that enable optimisation.
  • Driving the overall engineering and technical value creation strategies across the portfolio to maximise return on investment.
  • Contributing to the development of commercial B2B products.

Requirements:

  • Strong track record in building engineering/technical strategies for a diverse range of businesses, preferably within either a consultancy or Private Equity Fund environment.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS is highly desirable.
  • Proven technical expertise with a background in software development and team management.
