Carriera have partnered with a true leader in housing consultancy who are looking for a Junior CDM/PD Advisor, based out of their London office near St James' Park station, our client offer services such as project management, cost consultancy and client-side programme and development management and have an extensive and intimate knowledge of public sector housing.
The CDM advisors role will be to assist the Principal Designer to carry out duties in accordance with the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015, working with Housing Association and Local Authority Clients. Identifying and managing design related risks.
Communicating effectively with contractors, designers and clients by means of Design Team Meetings and Risk Workshops.
Reviewing and monitoring designers' compliance.
projects.
Providing information to contractors to manage health and safety throughout construction phase.
Undertake interim Health & Safety inspections and review site records.
Review Contractor's Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan.
Working towards a professional qualification in designing, building
surveying or building services discipline.
Continual professional development (CPD) would be encouraged.
NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety is preferred.
