IT Director

Responsible for the effective running of a large IT Department within a multi office environment
Our client is a prominent well known player in the retail market, with thousands of employees nationwide. They are renowned for their comprehensive range of products and services and have a strong commitment to leveraging technology to further their reach.
Oversee the IT department's strategic direction, development, and future growth
Ensure the smooth operation and security of all IT systems
Develop and implement IT policies and best practice guidelines
Manage and report on allocation of IT budget
Conduct regular system audits
Run and share regular operation system reports with senior staff
Ensure IT systems compliance with laws and regulations
Keep up-to-date with the most recent technologies and trends
Manage the technology in the call centres & field operatives
Incident management
Present to Senior Leadership, Board and PE

A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering or a related qualification
Experience in managing and delivering IT systems
Strong understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
Call / Contact Centre Experience
Multi office environment
Used to presenting to the board, PE and Senior Leadership
