We have an exciting role for a Battery Test Technician (EV) who will join our client’s team, a developer of high-performance electric vehicles whose mission is to bring engagement and emotion to driving high performance electric cars. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in proving out the reliability, functional performance, and functional/intrinsic safety of battery systems.
Conduct testing of prototype battery modules, battery packs and battery systems, including performance, durability, and safety tests.
Collaborate with engineers to design and conduct testing programs to validate specific functional and safety design requirements.
Conduct fluid and thermal testing of the cooling systems.
Utilise advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to measure and analyse battery performance metrics.

Proven experience working with high-voltage battery systems in an automotive or related environment. 2-3 years of industry experience in electromechanical (or equivalent) testing within the automotive, aerospace, mining, marine, or construction/static ESS sectors.
~ Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in testing and documentation. Ability to meticulously follow testing protocols and identify any discrepancies or anomalies.
~ SAP training is advantageous.
