You can find out more about us on Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire Description & Scope Implements sourcing plans/ tactics to effectively manage the sourcing activities related to his/ her assigned project portfolio Provides sourcing and procurement support, ensuring parts are sourced in a cost-effective and timely manner from suitable vendors. Works with the assigned project teams to meet critical project timelines, prioritizing work and communicating progress in cadence reviews/ through tracking mechanisms. Defines part & assembly parameters for systematic Purchase Order release. Assesses supplier capabilities and makes recommendations for new supplier onboarding. Understands strategies for assigned commodities & proactively drive initiatives to meet departmental objectives Responsibilities Order Management Process purchase orders and sales orders accurately in ERP systems Track order status and ensure timely delivery Updates in the system when dates have been moved Sourcing Support Follow-up on request for quote (RFQ) packages Ensuring accurate documentation, sending additional documentation as necessary Supplier Coordination Communicate with suppliers regarding lead times, deliveries, and order confirmations Resolve discrepancies in invoices or shipments Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Procurement / Sourcing / Manufacturing / Operations / Business economics or a related discipline Process and quality improvement driven Experience with data management and control principles Proficient in MS Office apps, SAP (favourable) or other ERP system Negotiation and decision making skills SLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
