Holmesterne Foods is a leading food manufacturing company based in North Yorkshire, supplying partner customers in Retail, Manufacturing, and Food Service industries, including the UK's leading supermarkets. They manufacture a wide range of food products, from raw and cooked meats to vegetables, ingredients for prepared meals, and components for other food manufacturers. Operating from modern manufacturing facilities in Brompton-On-Swale and Leeming Bar, they are accredited to industry standards and focused on innovation.
The Candidate:
- Proven Leadership skills in a Manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Track record of achieving results through teams
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communicator with all stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Ability to deal with complexity and change, prioritise effectively, and deliver within short timescales
- Creative mindset, looking for opportunities to improve current practices.
- Previous experience of working in the Food and Drink industry, preferably in a regulated environment.
The Role:
- You will develop and maintain a continuous improvement culture, driving operational efficiencies, and identifying and implementing improvements to working practices to improve efficiency, performance and reliability.
- You will manage teams across operations and warehousing, driving efficiencies and working towards common goals.
- Ensure all products are manufactured to the required product safety and quality standards, safely and on time.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the teams, including managers, supervisors, technicians, and production operatives.
- Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback to enhance employee productivity and morale.
Salary: c£50k plus company car.
