About Our Client
Our client is a well-established sales & marketing specialist with a turnover of over £60m. With a substantial market presence, they have a robust workforce committed to providing top-tier services. Based in Windsor, the hiring manager is looking for an experienced FP&A specialist that can lead the newly created FP&A department.
Job Description
As the Head of FP&A, the successful candidate will lead the FP&A function with a short term focus on creating a range of processes across the FP&A function alongside building out a small FP&A team to provide commercial support to the UK managing director.
- Lead the FP&A team to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
- Prepare detailed reports on financial performance for senior management.
- Coordinate with other team members to develop financial forecasts.
- Lead budgeting & forecasting for the group.
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure financial data accuracy.
- Identify trends and recommend actions to optimise costs and improve financial performance.
- Support management decision-making with relevant financial data.
- Develop performance measures and monitoring systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of FP&A should have:
- An academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role within FP&A.
- Strong financial and accounting knowledge.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
