Agratas are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Chemist based on a hybrid basis from our Coventry office to support the construction and industrialisation of our recently announced state-of-the-art, multi-billion-pound battery manufacturing facility near Bridgwater in Somerset. Using your expertise and knowledge with bulk chemicals or a similar supply chain your role will support the delivery of one of the largest ever investments in the UK automotive sector.
Supplier Assessment : new / potential supplier evaluation, ensuring the supplier sites meet all requirements for manufacturing quality.​
Continuous Improvement : work collaboratively with suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications for all supplied parts.​
Problem Resolution : investigating quality issues, non-conformances and production problems.​
Strong technical knowledge of chemical, or a related industry, production methods, bulk materials / and all aspects of their supply chains.​
We are rapidly scaling up our operations to pioneer the design, development, and manufacturing of batteries for electric vehicles (EVs) at our state-of-the-art gigafactory in the UK.
