Position: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Type: Full Time, Term Time Only Hours: 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM About the Role: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students’ learning and development. You will work closely with children who require additional assistance, helping them to engage with their education and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to students with SEND. Assist in the delivery of tailored educational activities. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement Individual Education Plans. Help manage classroom behaviour and promote social skills.What We’re Looking For: Prior experience working with children with SEND is essential. A genuine passion for supporting students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
