We are currently looking for Field Service CHP Engineers to join our clients team.

£45,000 to £55,000 + Company car, fuel card, phone and laptop
40 hours per week across 5 days

We are urgently seeking a motivated and skilled CHP Engineer to join our client’s team supporting the Birmingham area. Our client are heavily involved in gas and diesel CHP designing, manufacturing and servicing and are going through a period of fantastic growth, with on track turnover this year to be £15million.

This is a field based role covering the Midlands area; What will the Field Service CHP Engineer be doing?

Conduct routine services, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities on CHP systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues in CHP equipment, including engines, generators, pumps, heat exchangers, and associated control systems.
Perform engine overhauls and address both mechanical and electrical issues on all makes of CHPs/Generators, with a specific focus on gas applications.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels.
Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in CHP technology
What we need from the Field Service CHP Engineer?

additional technical training or certification in electro-mechanical maintenance is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and address electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Installing and servicing of large gas CHP engines to generate energy for large buildings, offices, warehouses and factories. They pride themselves on generating low cost, low CO2 electricity for their customers via these systems, with service contracts in place for 10 years and return on investment within 2 years.
