Dunbar is looking to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a role in a Bedford Primary School starting Immediately. The hours are 8:30am-1:30pm, Monday-Friday and will be a temporary role with potential to turn into permanent. The ideal candidate will be caring, nurturing, passionate about helping children and having knowledge of the curriculum as the role is for a Reception class. The main responsibilites for this role: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent The ability to be flexible and work as part of a team Good literacy and numeracy skills Experience of working within an Early Years setting Have high expectations of pupil achievement and progress Knowledge of how to support teaching and learning effectively and efficiently Knowledge of ways to adapt and personalise learning to cater for the needs of individual children, particularly those with additional needs A range of behaviour management strategies, underpinned by a calm and caring approach.
