ROLE SUMMARY:

This is a rare opportunity to take on a varied and engaging role at a fast-growing antique and vintage jewellery brand based in central Bristol.

Lillicoco are looking to recruit a jewellery copywriter & administrator to be based at our headquarters in Clifton, Bristol.

This is a hands-on position where you will be learning about our incredible collection of fine antique jewellery and creating engaging content to educate and inspire our customers and clients.

You will be part of an enthusiastic and highly motivated team that works together with drive and purpose.

This role could be your first step into the wonderful world of antique & vintage jewellery, or into the wider fashion industry. The knowledge you gain in this position will form the foundation for a career that has the potential to develop in many different directions.

You can ultimately specialise in any number of areas including marketing, SEO & copywriting, advertising, sales and management.

  • Fulltime, Permanent
  • 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
  • £24k basic salary plus up to 10% in quarterly & annual bonuses (£26.4k on-target earnings)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Writing descriptions and condition reports for our newly sourced pieces of antique and vintage jewellery.
  • Liaising with the photography team to upload new listings to our website.
  • Cleaning and polishing jewellery ready for photography.
  • Packing orders to be shipped and printing shipping labels.
  • Testing precious metals and gemstones.
  • Coordinating with in-house and external jewellers; scheduling repairs, modifications and alterations.
  • Checking new pieces into stock.
  • Keeping stock management systems up to date, ensuring items are where they are supposed to be.
  • Monitoring office supply levels, ordering supplies when needed.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years of copywriting in a professional environment is preferred.
  • Experience in the jewellery industry would be an advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree-level education is preferred, ideally in a related field (for example History, English Literature, Classics, Art, Fashion or Jewellery).
  • Strong A-levels in writing-oriented subjects would be preferred.
