Our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional legal advice and support to individuals and families on matters including wills, probate, estate planning, and trusts. They are seeking a motivated and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their esteemed team and contribute to their continued success.

Role Overview: As a Private Client Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a variety of private client matters, providing expert legal advice, and building strong client relationships. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, offering tailored solutions to meet their unique needs and circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, estate planning, and trusts.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and integrity.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Assist with the administration of estates, including obtaining grants of probate and dealing with HMRC.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and fostering trust and confidence.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practices in private client law.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals, such as financial advisors and accountants, to provide comprehensive solutions for clients.
  • Participate in business development activities, including networking events and seminars, to attract new clients and enhance the firm's reputation.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 1 year PQE in private client law.
  • Proven experience managing a range of private client matters.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of private client law, including wills, probate, estate planning, and trusts.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
  • A client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as required.
