Overview We are looking for a Data Architect with expertise working with modern Data Architecture, Data Governance, Big Data and Data Engineering to join us at Vault Data.
The ideal candidate will be someone passionate about creating a robust, scalable and secure data strategy to drive innovation within the business.
Job Description As a Data Architect, you will establish and govern the data architecture, data strategy, data management and road-map with key milestones and deliverables to deliver our product vision.
You will lead on Data Governance and Compliance and collaborate with our Developers, ML, AI, QA and Security Engineers to integrate into the broader product life-cycle.
As a leading member of the Data Team, you are expected to lead and mentor the data team
Minimum 12 years of total industry experience and 5 years of experience as a Data Architect
A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a master's degree in data science being highly advantageous.
Experience defining, building and deploying Modern Data Architectures
Experience defining, implementing and deploying scalable Database architectures within Data Management Systems within platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, DataBricks, etc.
Experience designing and integrating data algorithms and pipelines ensuring performance, scalability, maintainability, and security with back-end/front-end software systems
Expertise in modern Application Architecture Patterns, Design Patterns and Software Engineering concepts.
Solid understanding of Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse concepts
Champion Data Compliance and Data Governance
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL
Proficiency in Python
Experience in Data Visualisation Tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
Experience in consumer or behaviour data preferred but not essential
