Cambridge Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom Lindenhouse Software Full time

If you want to wake up each morning looking forward to an invigorating challenge, this is the place for you. We work hard to create software that improves people’s everyday working lives and we have a lot of fun while we turn our ideas into reality.

With an emphasis on finding the right work/life balance, we are proud to promote our relaxed and collaborative environment. As the team grows, so does our investment in each team member’s personal development. Every decision we make, every customer we help, every line of code we write is defined by our company values.

~ Grit is long-term

~ Data Drives Decisions -  We're a data driven organisation. We must be led by our data and are agile to it

GetBusy's specialist productivity software solutions, including Virtual Cabinet, SmartVault and Workiro, enable growing businesses to work securely and efficiently with their customers, suppliers and teams anytime, anywhere. With over 70,000 paying users across multiple market sectors and jurisdictions, GetBusy is an established and fast-growing SaaS business delivering sustained double-digit growth in high-quality recurring subscription revenue over the long term.
Our customers are in resilient industries and we benefit from favourable global trends towards improved consumer privacy regulation and productive remote working. Our high levels of recurring revenue and low levels of customer concentration give us a stable foundation from which to invest for sustained growth through product innovation and substantial market expansion.
Our finance team is made up of 6 people in the UK, with additional transactional support on the ground in our Houston office. We have one finance team that looks after all things finance - from invoicing and credit control through to all month end and year end processes, reconciliations, budgets and forecasting, consolidation, tax and external and board reporting. The finance team also has significant involvement in project work.
The Interim Group Accountant will work alongside two other excellent and experienced accounting professionals to carry out all of our month end accounting activities, working with our external auditors during our interim and year end audit, and other ad hoc tasks and projects.
Continuous improvement is a key focus for our team and we have implemented best-in-class finance systems to help us to work efficiently and effectively. We are currently using systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive Planning and Budgeting, Pento and Payhawk and we’re always looking to improve the tools we use and the way we use them. This is a varied role that would suit either someone newly qualified and keen to learn or someone with a bit more experience who would enjoy being part of our high performing team on an interim basis of 6-9 months. It’s also an opportunity to get meaningful exposure to a modern, best-in-class finance technology stack in an AIM listed group.
This role will report to the Group Financial Accountant, work closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team and interact frequently with the Director of Finance and Operations and the CFO.
