The role of a Senior Lead Auditor closely aligns with that of a Lead Auditor, with the key distinction lying in additional responsibilities, including Mentoring, Key Account Management, and/or Subject Matter Expertise. Lead Auditors who have accumulated substantial auditing experience over several years and are actively engaged in two or more of these supplementary activities are eligible to apply for the Senior Lead Auditor position.
Senior Lead Auditor Responsibilities:
Conduct management systems audits (Stage 1, Stage 2, Surveillance, and Re-Certification) in compliance with a variety of International Standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001.
Submit audit reports to Head Office in the required format, providing recommendations within specified timeframes outlined in procedure QP-10 and client requests.
Promote the benefits of certification to management system standards for existing clients, conducting visits to potential clients to maximize market share.
Identify sales opportunities for additional certification and training courses.
Operate within a regional structure, ensuring the personal diary is at full capacity, and monitor to transfer audit work to locally based auditors to minimise unnecessary travel.
Travel to client sites and occasionally stay overnight as required.
Shadow trainee auditors and consistently provide feedback on performance.
Provide line management with a review of trainee performance and coaching opportunities.
Key Account Management Responsibilities:
Work closely with key account contacts to support the scheduling and planning of future audits.
Act as the lead auditor for the key accounts audit cycle and monitor performance effectively.
Physically attend key account management meetings when necessary.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing as a Lead Auditor for ISOQAR.
No customer complaints received regarding behaviour or conduct.
Previous mentoring experience or training.
Previous project management experience or training.
