Medical Device Design Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Medical Device Design Engineer to work for a fantastic company based near to Melbourn. They’re looking for someone who has previous experience working in a similar industry Typical duties are:

  • Maintain and update medical device specifications, designs and documentation.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve product issues.
  • Develop products through prototyping, fabrication, and testing.
  • Implement value engineering for safety purposes alongside making them more user friendly and economical.
  • Collaborate with sales and purchasing for technical support and procurement.
The successful candidate:
  • Solidworks (or similar) CAD experience through either in role training or formal qualifications.
  • Previous hands-on small tools and bench experience including general metal and wood work.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • An understanding of medical regulatory standards.
