As they continue to modernise their technology landscape, they are now hiring a Head of Delivery. This opportunity offers exceptional scope for progression, impact, and influence, with the successful candidate helping to steer the technology roadmap for the entire organisation.
Play a pivotal role in a business undergoing significant digital transformation and modernisation
Lead, shape, and develop the end-to-end delivery and architecture function
Define and own the technology roadmap, aligning it with a long-term business strategy
Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Digital, and wider business teams
Own the end-to-end delivery of all digital and technology projects and programmes, ensuring high-quality execution and seamless transition to operations
Lead and mature the project delivery function, setting and enforcing strong governance and delivery standards
Prioritise and sequence the delivery portfolio based on business needs, dependencies, and capacity
Own the overall Digital & Technology Architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise guidelines
Drive delivery quality — defining and embedding standards for assurance, testing, documentation, and handover
Work closely with Business Partners and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between business priorities and the delivery pipeline
Manage key suppliers and delivery partners to ensure value and performance
Monitor portfolio outcomes, ensuring benefits tracking, risk management, and continuous improvement
Mentor and develop high-performing teams across project management, architecture, and delivery disciplines
Demonstrable leadership delivering large-scale digital and technology transformation programmes
Experience managing multi-disciplinary internal and external delivery teams
Strong programme and project management capability, including portfolio planning and sequencing
Solid understanding of application architecture, software engineering, and integration
Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and relationship-building skills
