The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering high-quality landscape projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Estimation and Budgeting:
- Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for landscaping projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare detailed and comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
- Prepare and submit detailed and competitive bids in response to client requests.
- Work closely with the sales and business development teams to understand client requirements and expectations.
- Conduct thorough market research to ensure competitiveness in bidding processes.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate the estimating process and project cost breakdowns.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient project planning.
- Provide support in the negotiation phase to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Proven experience as a Landscape Estimator in either residential or commercial landscaping projects.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape estimating.
