Legal Counsel We are seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join the in-house legal team to take a leading role overseeing legal advice and support to its UK and global operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to build strong relationships with Senior Management and stakeholders across the business. About the role and its responsibilities Day-to-day responsibilities and work will include: drafting; reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts (e.g. distribution agreements; IT/software agreements; marketing agreements); advising on compliance and regulatory matters; handling/managing contractual disputes; Mergers & Acquisitions, including due diligence, disclosure and the drafting/negotiation of purchase agreements; assist with the provision of internal training for the wider business on general legal matters such as GDPR liaise with and manage external legal counsel to assist on the matters above including IP agents to protect the Group’s international trademark and patent portfolio; and supporting with general queries. Qualifications Qualified to practice law 2+ years' legal work experience in a range of commercial and corporate matters. 3 days office presence in Bristol essential
