Opportunity towork in an independent M&E engineering firm with a global presence,operating in the Data Centre markets. Based in Central London, myclient has delivered major data centre projects across the globe witha network of international partners and offices.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Principal MechanicalEngineer. The Engineer will be responsible for Mechanical systemsdesign on data centre projects. This opportunities is hybrid (50% ofthe month in the office).

Job requirements

  • Expertise in large HVAC and cooling systems
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering orequivalent
  • Experience in RIBA concept stage design to 4c (or 4iii) andStage 5 client monitoring role.
  • Ability to work independentlyand remotely
  • Familiarity with either Amtech, ETAP, EasyPower,AutoCAD or Revit
  • The right to work in the UK.

The ideal candidates should be degree/ diplomaeducated in Engineering or similar and have a sound knowledge andpassion for data centre MEP design, with a mechanical bias. You willhave excellent technical knowledge in your primary discipline, athorough understanding of mechanical engineering and interdisciplinarydesign through all stages of the design process.

The successful individual will be based in our London officeworking on prestigious data centre projects throughout UK/Main LandEurope, India and the Middle East. Our Clients include a mixture ofkey regional and international players in the data centre industry,collocation providers and Hyperscale data centres.
