About the Role: The Senior Consultant will be a client facing consultant working on various projects concurrently. They will own the holistic end to end solution on the projects they work on and be the expert in how a solution is built. They will deliver many of the build elements themselves as part of a wider team of consultants. They will serve as the primary/sole consultant for some projects, for larger projects they will work alongside a Technical Director to develop the most complex and challenging solutions. The Senior Consultant has a high proficiency in translating business problems into solutions leveraging the out of the box configuration capabilities as well as technical solution based on automation, APIs, data exports and loads, and advanced configuration and coding. They should always ensure that any solution provided is delivering business value. The Senior Consultant will be able to design and build solutions from the output of discovery sessions such as requirements, user stories, process maps, and other similar materials. As a member of the delivery team, the Senior Salesforce Consultant will be working on various projects concurrently and responsible for:

  • Interaction with client business groups to understand business processes and key requirements, proactively working to resolve client issues
  • Reviewing, analyzing and evaluating business systems and user needs
  • Documenting customer requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Salesforce Application configuration and testing
  • Conduct and/or attend customer and team meetings onsite as required by business needs
  • Prepare and analyze data conversion requirements; identify data gaps
  • Perform or manage data migration activities (e.g. loading data supplied by customer into Salesforce)
  • Hands on build of system
  • Lead Testing efforts including unit, system and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
  • Manage change communication and coordinate end-user training for system implementations
  • Participate in training design, documentation and delivery efforts with the Project Manager
  • Directly and effectively train customer’s personnel in the use of the system
  • Clearly and effectively communicate with team and with customers regarding project status, technical issues, enhancements and creative solutions
  • Work alongside the Project Manager to brief other team members on requirements and work required of them
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact customers’ experience

Skills Overview:

  • Extensive solution delivery experience
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Loader and third-party integration tools such as Jitterbit
  • Functional knowledge of Salesforce data structure
  • Ability to run requirements elicitation sessions with the client and to produce Writing User stories and corresponding acceptance criteria to document the requirements
  • Ability to run Business Process Mapping sessions with the client and to produce Business Process Maps as an output (As-is and To-be)
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical reality that is extendable and maintainable
  • Writing and executing test scripts
  • Ability to communicate well with customers of varying technical abilities
  • Ability to project management and work within delivery methodologies a must
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues as required
  • Ability to monitor budget burn against remaining effort
  • Familiarity with full project life cycle from requirements through to deployment
  • Ability to accurately scope, plan and estimate the level of effort for tasks
  • Team development and mentorship

Senior Salesforce Consultant - remote/ London - 6 month initial contract.
